General Information
The city of Sítio Novo is located in the Borborema Potiguar Region. One of the places that attractions the curiosity of the visitors is the Castle of Zé Monte, located at the top of the Serra dos Tapuios. The construction , done in stone and lime, took more than 20 years to finish, and was idealized by Zé Monte, who contributes the undertaking to an apparition of Our Lady who ordered him to construct the castle and its 13 towers.
